We'll be introducing them here in this thread and giving you guys first dibs on purchasing them. This trip was a big part of running them through the paces to see what changes needed to be made. What is the rear bumper on the Orange Rig?
Thank you! We still have bunch more photos to share including all the ones from our iPhones. What an outstanding adventure. Thank you for taking us along for the ride. All your rigs and equipment looked awesome.
I have had the amazing opportunity to travel all the trails Ouray/ Silverton and Telluride for 8 years at the Discount Tire FJ Cruiser events. I have to say it is some of the best scenery I have ever seen. What fun trails as well. Ophir was a challenge passing on the narrow switch back as we were on the outside of the trail with a big drop.
We had to go through some deep mud one time on Black Bear, It was just opened.
I always wanted to go to this house.
My hats off to your guys . Thank you for sharing.
That was definitely the idea. Since we had planned to stay 14+ days living out of our Gladiators we wanted to have the right gear to be comfortable. Two of the Gladiators had 2 people and three people living out of them. 80% of our route was going to be on dirt making the only times we dipped into a town for food/water and fuel. You guys have enough gear for an overlanding expedition on Mars!
WOW! that is incredible. What city/state is this? Great pictures. Thanks for sharingWe arrived late at our camp spot just west of Silverton. Clear Lake is beautiful spot located at 12,000 ft. We met up with Ray from Exploration Outfitters that evening and called it early so we could wake up and get on the road to Black Bear Pass and Imogene. When we rolled in that evening we didn't realize we had camped on edge of such a beautiful lake. The next morning we headed back down the trail get some epic wheeling in.
