I've seen this and I like it. My Factor55 flatlink never seems to stay tight to my fairlead and ends up falling down a little. I'll have one on my YJ at some point.

I like the concept, but they're awfully proud of it. I'll probably end up with one someday, but coughing up the money for it won't make me happy.

It's also a lot less aluminum and machining. But I get it, new innovative product, R&D and all that.
Actually I look at it from the value and function standpoint. Granted, most fairleads never see much real use.
Like a spare wheel I guess.

It's neat, but it only protects the synthetic rope from impact damage. It arguably exposes more of the rope to UV rays, which is bad, and it leaves the fairlead opening wide open for water & debris & mud to enter the spool area. The rope should be protected from UV exposure and the spool should be shielded from both UV and water/mud/debris as much as possible.

I'll stick with my home-made setup:

I support US companies whenever I can, but IMO, when they price stuff so high like this, thet are just asking for a chinese knockoff to cut off their sales. $265 for a fairlead is rediculous.

This is pretty much my line of thinking. I'll support you guys, but only if you're reasonable. I'm having a hard time justifying a fairlead that is half the cost of my winch.
