Seems so odd for people to voice their negative opinions about a product that is not on their Jeep and was purchased with exactly zero of their dollars. It’s easier to just be quiet and let everybody enjoy their build.

So far feedback has been positive. Some even said it’s not for them but looks good. Overall no rudeness has been said about it. I do believe the square headlights are something that some Jeepers have strong feelings about and that’s cool. I may not like something particularly that they’ve done to their rig.

And as you stated, at the end of the day we all need to be proud of our own styling. For me I like all jeeps, but YJ’s hold a special place in my heart.

That's true, most are supportive or neutral...post #15 isn't exactly positive but you have a good attitude about it.

Except the real world is not like that. This place is a discussion forum and people discuss and share opinions. It can be done without being an asshole.

I do plenty of stuff than runs against the grain. I am OK if some do not like it and express an opinion to such.

You're right, it is and they have a right to share their negative opinions, as there is value in opposition. But unless its constructive that value drops off sharply. Still, at the end of the day most don't care if you (not you personally) don't like something anyway so I don't know why I'm rambling on.

I had no intention of derailing this thread, sorry OP! I'll step down from my travel-size soapbox now.

Very interested in the square headlight conversion grille. It looks GREAT on your truck!

Our YJ is very special to us. I drove my Mother-In-law to the dealership in 95 to buy it. My Gladiator is my daily, our YJ is my Moab and Rubicon toy as well as my wife’s summer fun-buggy.
