Yikes, that wind sounds intense. Poor birds, maybe they can find our hats, wherever they end up.
We are one of the top 5 states for wind, and our number of windy days is pretty high. Today's another of those days. Took down some outside decorations and one of the bird feeders I knew would be damaged by wind.
23 mph right now, not as bad as it was...
Here's what the NWS says about us today -
Windy, with a west wind 21 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Wednesday Night. Mostly clear, with a low around 28. Breezy, with a ...

Tomorrow will be 17 mph
So doors stay on much of the time, dang it.

Des Moines International Airport Wind Statistics ; Strongest 1 April, 2023. 25.3mph NW ; Average April. 12.9mph ; Strongest 16 March, 2023. 50.1mph WNW
Average April is 12.9 mph

It's just not a great place for convertibles or roofless or doorless trucks much as I hate to say it, and as much as I'd love to have the roof off a lot. I even rigged up a nice way to lift the roof off and leave it hanging in the garage.

The birds were trying to fight over food this AM and it was funny as they launched into the air trying to beat each other up, the wind was blowing them away LOL

We help sellers get multiple offer for their car in as little as one business day.
