My wife loves the way the Gladiator looks, she thinks it's very hummer-esque even though I really don't....I guess because it's so blocky. But, she is a bit afraid of driving it, she is used to small, quick, maneuverable cars that she can zip into and out of parking spaces quickly. I helped her drive it around a school parking lot after we bought it, but she hasn't actually driven it out on the street yet. Not to say she won't, but it intimidates her. She loves being driven around though. :CWL:

My wife has owned 3 Camaros in her life and her first car was some big Chrysler. She had an 87 Camaro when we met. She doesn't like driving big bulky things, she likes high-sitting vehicles now so she can see (odd, that goes against the Camaro thing). She likes the creature comforts of her WK2 and my JT and being able to see in traffic.
Women are such a contradiction sometimes. She loved her 90 Camaro with t-top but doesn't like taking the panels out of the JT. I think as she's gotten older she's more self-conscious about how her hair looks and such. I dunno, Never will figure them out.

My wife has driven the JT when her JLU was in the shop or whatever. And when I took my friend out to Moab of course I let him spend a couple hours in the driver seat since we carpooled and he left his YJ back home.

I should note that I mean I let him drive some of the trails in Moab, not just help me drive across the country lol.

If you figure them out, they just change. Everything is in a constant state of change, isn't that a law or something?

I think Newton had some law about them.
If I figure them out - I'll be the richest guy on earth for a short time as there'll also be a price on my head.

My wife drove mine for the first time last weekend, after I'd owned it for 4 months. Her daily driver is a Honda Fit, so it's a pretty big jump for her (and she's 5'1). She said it handles well but is big and made her nervous, even though my last truck was a '96 Chevy 1500 and she had no qualms about driving that when the need arose. But this is new and shiny and cost 30 times what I sold the Chevy for.

I really like how you guys think. I offer it (2021 Mojave) to my wife to drive and she heck no's me. Not a single person in my inner circle will drive it lol.
Its also an excellent way to get oils changed, tires rotated...I'll tell my daughters if they will get those done for me they can have the Jeep for a day. Win-Win.

So far, nobody. It’s only been a month though. I probably won’t let my wife touch it for a few years after last summer she clipped the front left bumper of her 2018 JGC on side of garage.

Anyone that I know that asks can drive it.

was at the range the other day and the dude behind the counter noticed the new Gladiator and asked if he could drive it jokingly. I handed him the keys and he enjoyed the spin around the block. That drive helped him decide to order a JLU and V6.

My wife prefers her JLU, but is welcome to drive mine whenever she wants.

As for the vette, I’m a little less “care free” haha

Aaaaand Dad gets to drive the Scat Pack in return haha

So far, my two friends who have Jeeps, the dealership because they have had to and my neighbor when he was backing up a trailer and I was guiding him, and me. All of us know how to drive off road, on road and drive well so I’m good.

My wife as technically it's hers. A close friend who is an off roader and has a Gladiator and perhaps my son in law who has a J10.

The dealer if I had to have something done but I would be somewhat nervous about that.

Ah, like me, her name is first on the title?
I did that on purpose and my bets are she'll outlive me. I just wanted everything really easy as I've seen nightmares - and her family has splintered over such trivial things as who gets or owns what. I'm making it simple.

The cars are in my name first - she couldn't care less about those. A friend will likely sell those for me.

Anyway, she's been accident-free for decades, not so much as a scratch, and she's driven most things I've owned anyway, including a 1936 F20, my Comanche, and she owns a Wrangler, so...................
My son has borrowed my trucks - including this JT (he's been accident-free for years but is rather aggressive on the road)
My daughter-in-law used to drive delivery trucks in Korea. You'd never know by her 5' 1" 110 pounds soaking wet stature.
