Z Automotive front facing camera problems

I installed the Z Automotive front facing camera on my 2021 JT High Altitude today. The instructions say to put the new pig tail connector in spots 21&22 on the UConnect harness. The problem is, is there are already wires in those spots. I'm not sure if this is specific to the HA edition or if anyone else has run into this problem as well on other models. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you contacted Z automotive? I haven’t seen much on the forum about adding their camera. I would recommend reaching out to them and please update us on any details you receive.

I thought the same too originally. I can't explain it the best but It's because you are looking at the plug straight on and comparing it to the diagram when in fact you have to look at the plug from the backside and compare it to the diagram. Then, you will see the two empty slots because now you are reversed.

You are 100% correct. I was looking at it from the wrong side of the connector. Thank you so much for your help!

Did the camera work for you guys? I can get the control to show up in the radio, but when I select the front camera, nothing happens. I checked the power and the supplied power connector was crimped to insulation, once I fixed, that I still get no video.

I am waiting a couple days to see if time helps, but I was wondering if the pins were correct for the 2021.

I have JScan not tazer, I did one full reset, not 2.

Front camera....you're supposed to select cargo camera....
