Engine light came on today. 2,700 miles. I guess it's my turn now.

Upon starting my 2022 JTM today after work I noticed the extra "chime" to tell me to look at the dash. Sure enough the engine light came on and stayed on. Truck ran normal though with no loss of power or "limp" mode others have described. No messages on dash or on the Uconnect app. Shut it off numerous times and restarted. Light stays on.

Called and made dealer appt. They can't get me in till the 27th. They also made mention of the Z37 PCM reprogramming that popped up in the system after plugging in my VIN.

My turn to cross my fingers and hope for a good outcome. This dealer sells very few JL's and JT's so unsure if they are aware of some of the no-start issues out there after PCM reflash. :fingerscrossed:

Go to the local autozone, advanced auto or oriellys and have them scan it. That will give you some peace of mind while waiting.
Funny thing is that I was about to head to O'Reilly to have them plug the scanner in. Today (while running errands) after four separate start-ups the light went out. I'll have them check the history code anyway. May be something as simple as my Mopar locking gas cap.

I'll still go to my dealer next week regardless.

You can pick up a simple $20 ODB2 reader off of Amazon. Good thing to keep in the glove box or other storage areas on your Gladiator. Gives you a general idea before heading to the dealership. Can save some wasted time.

Just got my Recall Z37 notice in the mail yesterday. Even though the light went off days ago, I am going to the dealer anyway.

OBD 2 reader on the way for the future.

No drama here. Had the customer satisfaction (recall) Z37 performed today. Brought in the Star info regarding failure to program instructions just in case. All good. My Mojave is happy again without the CEL on and off.
