I pulled mine down not long after I bought it, and did the snap ring trick from the back side. 26,000 miles and 4 years later, no more problems.
What is the snap ring trick?

I bought the Amazon clips for this two years ago. I may have to order them again. Not because they broke, but because I can't find them. I should have installed them right away.

Did the design changed for the 2024?

I will give it another try, but it does not seem to work in my 2024 Mojave

My visors weren't broken but installed these today as a preventative measure.
The front bungies from my mesh sunshade acted as a second set of hands holding the brackets in place as I tightened them down

I have discovered, if you don't use the visors, they can't break

I purchased my 2020 Gladiator at the end of Nov 2024. The second time my wife opened the passenger side visor it broke. That was 2hrs into ownership! Granted, it seems like 4 years is a pretty respectable lifespan for these.

The repair kits do work nicely though.

What is the snap ring trick?
Take the visor down and file a thin groove where the stem comes through the backside, about flush with the land, or stub. I used a jewelers file. Put a snap ring over it, and replace. I can’t remember the exact size of snap ring though. I believe I found that trick on here somewhere. Sorry it took so long to respond……

I’m quoting you , just to see if we get an answer. My 2020 broke and I fixed it with the Amazon reinforcement clips. I’m just wondering if I should preemptively add them to my new 2024 Mojave.
