On the interstate in pouring rain and heavy traffic - tried to shift and clutch would not disengage - tried several times and finally got trans to shift - did this once more on local street - picked a gear and did not try to shift and pulled into my driveway. Left it for the night. The next morning looked and clutch pedal was on the floor - pulled it up and it stayed. Started the truck (have to have clutch in) and the clutch appears to work but the pedal is very soft like it is not attached to anything. Very sadly will contact the dealer service dept. on Monday. Wish me luck.

Sounds like the master cylinder. But likely, they'll replace the whole thing since it probably took the friction disk with it. Hopefully, getting parts won't be an issue. The clutch warranty is only 12k miles, so it'll probably cost you. Might as well go Centerforce, since you'll probably have to pay for it anyway. Good luck!

Highly recommend Centerforce if you are no longer under warranty. Only catch is —Not sure about the lead time. I waited over a year for mine. It’s the best mod ever and was worth the wait. Also have my old clutch sitting in my basement. nothing wrong with it - I don’t see me ever going back but if you are in a jam maybe we can come to some sort of agreement? PM me if interested in info on CF clutch or my old clutch.

Could you share in what ways the Centerforce is an upgrade? I plan on keeping my 6MT Mojave for a long while so when it’s clutch time I’m happy to toss in something better.

Better, more positive engagement, no burning clutch smell on hills or moving a trailer. Better take off. Engages lower in the pedal travel. Climbs a hill now with no throttle. Only minor con is increased pedal effort.

When/if the time comes, I'll look that way. I don't mind the stock clutch, but it seems to fail without the normal tell-tale slip first. No warning.

I feel like I should order now, even though I don't need it, the way the supply chain is working these days. I don't want to need it and not be able to get it.
