I had a gift card laying around and already had an OBA setup so I figured I would add an air horn. Kleinn makes a nice kit that was super easy to install. Came with a horn mount so I didn't have to figure out where the horns would go. Only difficult part was finding a pull chain style switch. The only one I could find was one from Cole Hersee. It's on the larger side but I was able to fit it behind the trim on the roll bar.

Main reason I got it was for cruise nights and parades and it will definitely work for that. The tank is currently set at 150 PSI, but I may end up turning that down to 100 PSI for the horns. That way they won't be overbearing. I also wired it to the same switch as the compressor so kids or rando's won't be able to mess with it. Overall I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

Where did you install the compressor and where did you get them?

The compressor and tank are installed under the drivers side along the exhaust. I used the Viair Heavy Duty OBA kit and mounted it in the Maximus-3 cradle. If I were to do it again though, I would probably get Kleinn's OBA kit. The Kleinn kit has much better access to the air tank but the Maximus-3 mount does allow you to have a dual compressor setup.

I just drilled a hole in the roll bar plastic and fastened it directly to that. I wasn't sure it would be strong enough at first but I haven't had an issue yet and the plastic doesn't really flex when I pull it.

If I were to do it again I would move it rearward an inch or two. There is a plug behind the plastic that I had to wrestle with to get the trim back in place.

Did you fabricate that skid plate for your compressor or did you purchase online from a retailer? I have the same setup but have my compressor exposed which makes me a bit nervous at times.

Here you go, it sits right between the exhaust and driveshaft.

I bought it from Maximus 3. They have a really good option here
