I may switch back to the brick since I rarely use the fob in this iteration since I converted my Sport S to Proximity Locks.

Honestly… you should the the smallest one you can get from threedom. The big fob imo is way too big. I have the ajt too and I’m thinking of going smaller myself

Not really sure why there is so much hate for the factory fob? At least its not like the old days where you have 3 different keys for a vehicle. Really doesn't seem all that bad considering most people walk around with a laptop in their pocket these days....

3 keys?
Whatever did you have that took more than 2 keys, discounting the gas cap key?

I think it was an old bronco or maybe suburban? Wasn't mine. one key for ignition, one key for doors, one key for rear door (maybe the rear got replaced and didn't rekey the front doors?).

It wasn't a Bronco: Ford door & ignition keys were the same. So probably a Suburban.
And yeah, I'd bet on the tailgate being re-keyed.

Hater's gonna hate but I think this looks awesome! doubles down as a self defense weapon!
But can it open a beer?
I mean no one would complain about a big key fob if it had a bottle opener built in. Just saying.

Ummm…… one had an oval head and the other was square-like. Most vehicles of the era had two separate keys.

Yeah, two keys: one for the doors/ignition (for Ford,) the other for the trunk/glovebox.

Older GM vehicles had a square key for the ignition and a oval key for the doors and trunk. I think AMC was the same.

My old YJ had three (3) keys....ignition (square style; switch so worn out that they key was not required to start), HALF DOORS (oval style; never used even one time in 16 years) and the factory console (also oval, but with a different logo).
