Pictures kind of say it all here. I’m not sure how to even deal with this guy at this point. After I placed my order I saw the thread about ACC getting dropped from new orders. Tried reaching out to my salesman and this is the response I got. As I said in my text above there are relevant supply chain issues, but to say it’s NEVER been an option is patently false. I’m not sure if he doesn’t know his product or if he’s just trying to gaslight me into a sale. Any advice I’d appreciated.

Ok, he's clearly wrong, but what's the situation? Does it make a difference to you getting exactly what you want for the right price?

Yeah so my issue is that on the website right now if you go to build a gladiator it has the pckage listed including ACC for $945. On my order summary I have a line with a charge for $945. The I see it is if it’s on the website as an option I am paying for and it’s not on the truck I shouldn’t be paying full price and getting half of the package

So you have ordered the Gladiator or just trying to order it? The salesperson is absolutely wrong. If you haven't committed to them then find another dealer. If you have committed then elevate to the sales manager and I would do it in person. If no satisfaction with the dealer then elevate to Jeep. Don't put up with BS

Yeah I’ve got the order in already, got my VIN today in the midst of that conversation. Unfortunately the dealer is an hour drive away, so going in person isn’t the most convenient. I have been thinking I should contact the sales manager though. The confidence in telling me I’m wrong when I’m laying out all of the evidence is just absurd. Part of me wants to go just put an order in at another dealer and walk away from this guy entirely but that just feels so wasteful to me.

Walking away from this guy, with your deposit intact, might be the best thing for your peace of mind. But I would try to clear it up with the sales manager first. You'll find out that the sales person will get an attitude adjustment, or you'll find out the sales manager is an uninformed idiot too. Then walking away would be easier....

Ever see this guy? I don't know him except from his YouTube videos at CJ Pony Parts and this news gig. But he knows and owns Jeeps, he works at a dealer sort of close by to you, and maybe he can give you advice?

If you want ACC, and it isn't on your truck, don't settle for not getting it. And I highly recommend getting it.

Walk away, show the sales manager and GM these texts, and it will get your deposit back.
This guy is an idiot, ACC has been on JL/JT since day 1 release.

its definitely a big item for me since I’m buying this thing to road-trip with my GF. Luckily my deposit is refundable, but I still think the managers should be made aware that their staff is woefully uninformed and mildly combative. I used to work at a dealer and you’d get shitcanned for telling a customer they were straight up wrong when they weren’t.

Haven’t seen this guy but I’ll do some Google mapping and see if it’s worth the hike.

Do not settle for without then. My JL did not have it, my JT does. I will not go back to regular lol.

I designed the steering wheel switches in the JL and JT at my previous company. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that the JL and JT came with it from initial release. These salesmen go in and out of dealerships constantly and the dealers don't train them on features, when they should be knowledgeable on all of the features and availability of said features.

We dealt with this on a mazda we just purchased. The rear trunk door is supposed to have an automatic door that will close itself and you can set the heighth that it opens but because of supply chain issues that feature didn't exist on our car but the price reflected that as well as the bose stereo it didn't have.

I would go to a different dealer. This sales person has no respect for you.

If that happened to me on something I ordered, I would walk away on delivery day.
Gladiators are not unique, I'm sure there is one sitting on a lot somewhere with all the options and boxes ticked. Even if its a 4hr drive, it's worth it to get what you want.
