Not exactly glamorous, but I just put a set of Take Off Xtreme Recon wheels/tires on my Jeep today. I think it looks much better.

Looks good - What size tires and what are the measurements on these wheels, how much poke?

I like it better. It rides smoother on rougher roads. In daily driving it's noticeable but not by much. I've pretty much left it stock; I like the height it's at now. When it's time for tires I might try 35's. We'll just wait and see. Getting about 17-18mpg which is about the same as the Sport. It's just really a nicer vehicle and I have no regrets that I traded.
Thank you! That's kind of what I was expecting to hear. was your sport S a max tow? Mine is not but I did put rubicon take offs on it to tighten the ride up a lil

They are complete Wrangler Xtreme Recon wheels and tires.

Factory Mopar wheels 8" wide with the XR colors.
BFG K02s in 315/70-17.

I can get a pic of the poke. They do stick out a bit from the fenders. But not a lot.

Here's another angle. I really like how they look and they ride great.

I finally got around to cleaning them. They were pretty dirty when I got them. They only had 1100 miles on them but the Jeep they came off had been sitting in a dirt driveway and there was a thin layer of mud on them.

No, my Sport S was not a max tow. I put 33" tires and a front leveling kit at it was a good ride but pretty much from the day I got it I wished I had went ahead and bought a Rubicon. Then the Mojave came out which fit me a little better anyway. And then the high trade in value. And then the Gobi.....

I just realized I did not add to this thread. I purchased my 2022 Gladiator Mojave Gobi earlier this month. Traded my 2014 Wrangler JK Unlimited Rubicon

I wonder how many Gobi Mojave's we have here. Love the color combination, got mine with black leather interior.

Ordered the AEV 2” lift last night. As soon as I get notice it shipped I’ll order some Geo correction brackets from Amazon.

Spreading out the purchases makes it feel like I’m spending less!

Also am working with the forum contact for Discount Tire/Americas tire to get some new wheels.

And next I’ll order some of the Rusty’s rear LCA skids. Those and eventually a hitch skid plate should be the end of this round of mods for the JTM.

After my next Moab trip I will probably add an Eaton up front, 37s and regear.
