That is a good deal and compared to most all the others much lower profile and close to roof. He also did not buy it ,it was on Jeep from dealer might be more likely to drift lower on price say waving , $5,000 in front of him ya never know. Azmojave do not buy it for yourself, you surprised her with it so she can spend quality time with he husband, damn that girl is one a lucky girl! Ha!

That's a V1 GFC....they made a number of improvements in the V2 generation which is currently being made now.
Also the year backorder wait is an exaggeration....I am picking mine up in just under a month from order.

The main one is the gas struts located on the outside of the camper. With the V2 they're located insite the assembly so they aren't visible when the camper is closed up.
They also have a newer improved hinge design on the V2s but GFC did a program where they upgraded the hinges on most of the V1s since it was a known failure point.
