Posted my situation a while back.
1st order (sept 16th) I missed the "selec-trac" option that I really needed/wanted in Wisconsin winters.. when I placed that order I had my vin & von within a day. I put-up a stink, a stanky stink.. Weeks later the dealer flexed and agreed to order me a new one. 1st order is already built!!

2nd order w/selec-trac the price went up 2k, placed Oct 6th after the price hike... Agreed to it.
Took days before a von number, and I still don't have my vin!! Super concerned about material shortages that you're seeing with the JTR.. I may have cursed this 2nd order. Any of you placing orders in October seeing delays like this? Toss out thoughts,... like they only run firecracker on odd numbered months etc.. ; )

Anyways there will be a slick Mojave on the lot soon if any of you want it (sans select-trac)

I ordered my JTR on the 10th as well, confimred on the 11th, and VIN/VON received the 12th. Mine is currently in E status as of the 19th. What other options did you select? I have seen various mopar-specific parts (slush floor mats, headliner, mopar leather) are delaying some builds. The painted hard top and fenders, as I understand it, have to go out to a different vendor to be painted. Perhaps there are quite a few requests for painted tops/fenders and it's backing up your jeep in line? I've got the headliner only and black top/fenders, so far so good

Took a peek at CarGurus nationwide inventory of all Gladiators for 2022 and 2023 and it looks like Red is the one of the least available colors, aside from the known limited colors like Gobi. So yeah, it stands to reason that waiting for Red to be scheduled might be a factor.

Gobi was discontinued for 2023.. I was upset. Getting Stingray my second choice.

It's unfortunate that it's out of rotation for now. Stingray is a solid alternative. I really wanted Snazzberry, but I am getting Sarge Green as my second choice.

Everything minus aux, adaptive/safety features, no floor mats, yes to the headliner
