Where could I get a key fob made on a Sunday?

I am out of town visiting family and lost my key fob. I need to head home today but dealerships are closed. What are my options? I don’t believe I can do it from subscribing to Uconnect.

Rough spot to be in! I m in KY and there are a few mobile locksmith services that will do fob programming. I don’t know if they program the fob you have or if they can program a new one to your Jeep. They should be able to cut you a key that works though. Good luck!

I just called the only locksmith in the area. He doesn’t have a Jeep fob on hand and wasn’t sure if he could program is anyway. Looks like I’m stuck ?

Certain Ace Hardware stores can program a FOB. Now, odds of them having it in stock are slim to none.

@Threedom sells key holders that use the fob key blade and RFID chip to create a working key while still maintaining all the wireless function of the fob. This key can be stashed somewhere outside/inside the vehicle for emergencies. https://mythreedom.com/products/key_holder

Due to the costs - I doubt any are going to stock many.

You can get cheap replacements on amazon for under 30 bucks, but if you don't have two working fobs, it takes a locksmith or dealer to program one in.

If someone has two working FOBS, can they add a third without using a dealer or locksmith, and what is involved in doing so?
