Looking at Bamwholesale I'm not seeing how the mopar bumper is much more than the plastic one..
Is the devil in the details? what am I missing?
Noting no need for a skid plate, no need for a winch plate.
Also it seems as if weight may only add 40lbs am I wrong?

When you order the steel 3Pc. bumper it comes completely assembled with all of the mount brackets, & plastic trim pieces.
Basically all the numbered parts that are shown in the diagram, plus LED fog lights, and wire harness installed.
The steel skid plate that fits it is sold separately.

Much more in terms of...what, exactly? Price? Physical difference? Install needs?

What I'm not seeing in your screenshot is the part numbers, which is critical to understanding exactly what they're quoting the price for. The assembled 3 piece steel front bumper is around $1,000-$1,300 from Mopar, so chances are that on BAM you're seeing the individual component costs (which would all need to be added together). Without part numbers, though, we're all just assuming.

LED fog lights?, comes with the truck. Skid plate is not needed.. I have a Mojave. so maybe a 1k total versus 800 for the Chinese knock off aluminums still sounds like the best route.

Installed one about this time last year on my '21 Mojave.
The Mopar part number for the 3pc. steel bumper assembly at that time was PN: 82215121AF.
As I said, it comes with LED fog lights installed.
I didn't make that up, just the way it is.

Whichever way you go, you will have to either modify & trim your existing Mojave skid plate, or trim the bottom edge of the bumper for clearance.

Here is a link to posts with info on the subject of the swap.

Edit: Another item to point out is that the LED fog lights for the plastic bumper have a different bolt pattern than the ones for the 3pc. steel bumper.
You will need to purchase an aftermarket adapter plate in order to mount the plastic bumper lights into a steel bumper.
