I know that feeling, I've got a set of J3 headlights sitting in the garage that are destined for my sister's JK that I've been dying to see light up. Two days before they got here, her torque converter kicked the bucket and now her Jeep's been in the shop for two weeks.

Once they got the balancing right, these things are great. Smooth as silk on the road, and great off-road bite on some local trails.

I played with everything from 45 (the dealer set it there) down to 32, but then settled in to 36 cold all around. So far seems like a good balance of ride and mpg, and the “chalk test,” aka trail dust test, looks like they keep a pretty even footprint.

And they do fill those wheel wells just right!

Congrats, out here in Southern California there's a few places that make it hard to get also, like Los Angeles county. I have one of those shiny things that says I can carry concealed in all 50 states, but prior to that I was a CCW owner so I know the hoops you've got to jump through.
