New lightweight wheel/tire setup - Kansei KNP w/ BFG 37s

Switched from 18” Fuels with 305/70/18 Yokohama MT’s to 17” Kansei KNP with 37/12.50/17 BFG all terrains load C
Shaved 34 POUNDS PER CORNER!!!!

I weighed each setup mounted:

Fuel/Yokohama - 119 lbs
Kansei/BFG - 85 lbs

I have 4.10 gears and never saw 8th gear on the highway before and now it cruises at 75 in 8th.

Plan was to re-gear to 5.13 but I’m now considering 4.88

Strange to me that you didn't see 8th with the old setup when they were shorter than the new setup, only heavier.

New tires are almost 2” taller so I didn’t expect much change in drivability but it’s much better now.

Rolling resistance is also playing a large factor. The all terrain rolls much easier than the mud terrain.

I went with -10 offset and they stick out about 1.5” past the fenders.
