As soon as I got the auxiliary battery replaced, I purchased this battery tender and connected it to the main. Per your response, good to know that it will keep both batteries maintained. I've had the JT since July 2019 and only have 17,000 miles on it so I think this tool will benefit me greatly as it does sit for extended times, especially in the winter. Here's a link to the tender:Seriously, do get a decent battery charger or tender, and if your truck sits more than 2 or 3 days, especially over a week, keep the batteries up. You can connect to the top of the main or crank battery and it will keep both up without disconnecting things.
