Hey All,

Looking for recommendations for the truck bed tent I got for Christmas.

The king option is the AirBedz, but $300 for a mattress is steep since I won't be using it more than once or twice a year.

I tried out the Rightline, but it's pretty narrow and I don't think the wife and I would be comfortable on that for multiple nights.

Anyone have luck with some other brands? Not finding a whole lot of option out there.

Same question here. What I have (an old Coleman) is narrow and it's so easy to just roll off it. It's compact when stowed but I need something better/larger as I roll a lot at night.
I have a truck tent - keeping my eyes open for a mattress that isn't as expensive as the darned tent!
Something that is either snug between wheel wells, or, that fits around them a bit.

I have a like new Airbedz in blue. Never been used, just aired up and put it away. Also comes with the 2 optional side pieces for using it as a regular bed. DM me if interested.

So I’m not gunna try to sell the Airbedz pro, but that’ll be the better buy.

Big enough for 2 people is a relative request. I’m a big fella….doesn’t leave a whole lot of room for the mrs. If there were one. The cheaper units will only go between the wheel wells. I believe the Airbedz’s unit goes over the wells and provides extra coverage.

The material appears to be much more durable. I’ve had tons of air mattresses, and can attest to the fact that you get what you pay for.

I used the Airbedz with the extender a few times. It was awesome. Love the integrated compressor. Fits super tight in the JT bed and very comfortable.
How is it on top of those wheel wells? I feel like it is not really going to add that much space given how thin that air pad is?

The airbedz covers the wheel wells just fine. we utilized the whole width of the bed.

This is the one we use. Intex Dura Beam Standard Pillow Rest Classic Airbed with Internal Pump, Full https://a.co/d/2aPawaQ I carry an extension cord and plug it into the outlet in the center console of the Jeep.
We sleep with our heads at the tailgate. The mattress slightly humps up over the fender wells, but not bad. We also have the Napier truck bed tent, works for us for now. Figured it was cost effective enough to try for now. Maybe eventually we will get the Airbedz, but maybe we will end up with a RTT or something similar.
We also have a cargo trailer that is semi-converted into a camp trailer.

You can just barely see the mattress in there, only picture I have.

Bought a Napier as well and have been looking for a decent air mattress. We’ve Had Coleman’s and others in the past but none seem to last long.

Similar, we use a super cheap (<$16 @ Walmart) Intex 10" Dura-Beam full size.
One day might pop for an Airbedz, but for the money, this works fine.

Do you hitch carry the moto, or ride it there, while someone else drives the Gladdy?

The bike rides in the back.
That one is too heavy for a hitch mount.,

Not to argue, but there are hitch mounts that will easily carrier that 400ish pound beauty. Not so sure I'd want that much hanging off the back, but it could be done. That's a nice looking motorcycle, I bet it goes down the road smooth.
