Yeah totally fucked up. I wanted to have them build my custom bumper. They really have no JT bumpers in stock either. That's what I wanted. Bummed. Tried reaching out multiple ways and no response.

Yeah, I think if you find one at some other retailer then snag it, otherwise we're all SOL. Sucks all the good vendors are struggling and it's so bad they're forced to seek other means, but it's all about survival I guess. On a business and personal level; I know I can relate myself

Been looking everywhere for one of their rear JT bumpers. No where in sight. At least from what I can find.

I might be wrong but, I could of swore that they stopped making stuff a while ago to prepare for this?!?!?!?!?
I know I called a company (not sure what company) some time back to inquire about bumpers and was told they were in the process of being sold and nothing was in stock and all orders had to be made and there was no guarantee it would even be made.
It might not be VKS ...

As a fabricator for 30 years. Knowing a beautiful precision weld that is hand done, super consistent, everything is just right. I saw that in their process. I don't have the time or facility to do something like this. Unfortunately.
Would love to figure out who if anyone did buy it. I'd love to be able to get ahold of the AutoCAD and or SOLIDWORKS files in order to have one cut. Damn, want in one and shit in the other.

Saw their Instagram post. From the looks of it. They would be willing to sell the company and have their vision carried on. I reached out and asked if they would be willing to sell a set of prints or files for the sentinel rear bumper and side protection. No answer as of yet. Wish I could take on a company and not run it into the ground.

I reached out to one of the former welders from VKS. LS Fab. His stuff looks pretty good quality. Doing his own thing now.

What's even worse, is seeing what's left offered up for absolute fire sale numbers, and local pickup only... Makes you think about the markup on some of these things too. Absolutely brutal, not so much for the VKS products, but it's 3-4x as much for others (not naming those that are notoriously the price tag leaders). My points and decisions have just been proven and plans re-enforced what to buy next and not.

That’s a shame. I have one of their “the shield” stubby bumpers on my JK and it’s been awesome.

I present you with which is the last VKS fab built JT Gladiator rear bumper. Yesterday I drove 600 miles through early morning and dark of night, through snow and rain up over two passes in the Sierra's. Through traffic, idiots who don't know how to drive as well. Total time...16 hours. Between waiting to pass slow cars in the snow and having lunch with my sister's who graciously picked it up because I was running late. I can not say how impressed I am with the Falken Wildpeak AT'S mobbed through the snow and rain without a hint of slipping or sliding. Now on to the goods at hand. As expected there is some finish work to do. I have a swing away shaft that will get installed, a box, for gear and a couple of mountain bikes on top. Can't wait for the finished piece. Ohhh yeah ignore the Icon Rebound Pros in the background ?
