Just added a jl xr rubicon for a daily work vehicle. Last wrangler was a 2012 jk. I went with the xr so I don't have to do anything until I'm done using it for work. When I want to get a little more extreme I'll be in the gladiator.

After putting 500 miles on it, I absolutely love it. I wish they could put a one touch on the gladiator. It's early by getting a little over 19 mpg with the 2 liter Turbo ...getting around 15 in the gladiator but it's loaded up on 4.88s.

My gladiator feels like a semi now lol

I have mixed feelings about the one touch. Getting a one-touch naked is a chore. I'd imagine 99% of one-touch owners never get it naked, and the remaining 1% only ever do it once and never again.

That being said, for the crowd who was never going to get naked to begin with it's a nice bit of tech.

Personally I'll just stick with my hardtop with sunrider. It's just as convenient as a one-touch for much cheaper, and it only impacts getting naked ever so slightly. Also has the additional benefit of being able to be reinstalled once the back roof section is off to give you an optional partial sunshade while naked.

So far I disagree. It's so much easier hitting the button than storing the panels. The sunrider is a nice compromise but doesn't help the people in the back.

I don't spend much time in the gladiator completely topless and taking the doors off is close enough.

A Jeep compared to a sports car? You haven’t been in a sport car apparently
Lol it's all relative. I went from a tacoma to the gladiator 3 years ago and loved how much better the gladiator handle than the long bed tacoma.

Now I feel the same way about the wrangler....but no its not a mistake lol but I also don't feel like I'm sitting on the street.

For starters, you let people ride in the backseat? ?

Secondly, my wife has the sunrider and I’m a bit jealous. We have doors, panels, fenders, bumpers, all kinds of stuff in the rafters. Storing parts is a Jeep thing. The feeling of a convertible top beats a giant sunroof in my opinion. To each their own of course. ??

Congrats! I love the orange and the one-touch! Had I bought a JL instead of my JT, it definitely would have had a one-touch. I wouldn't have bought one without it. Enjoy!
