I bought a 2021 Gladiator Willys about 3 weeks ago. My question is, is it considered a 'sport'? I have body colored fenders and LED tail lights but halogen headlights, DRLs and turn signals. I ask because I was going to upgrade the fender lights to LEDs but some manufacturers say that they won't fit the sport or willys because they are too narrow. This is my first Jeep so any help is appreciated.

Yes a willys is a sport. For all their trim names, there are really only 4 build groups:
Sport - all trims not listed below
Overland - Overland and High Altitude
Rubicon - Rubicon and Launch Edition
Mojave - Mojave

Yea it’s kind of confusing with all the “sport” trims out there.

Is there a way to tell the difference between the Willys Sport and Willys?

Go find the build guide posted on this website. Sports include Sport, Sport S, Willys, Willys Sport, Freedom, Altitude, 80th anniversary, Texas Trial, California Edition, and probably some more I can't remember.
It's all the Sport umbrella.

If you switch to led fog lights, you'll probably need to have a device, such as a Tazer or jscan, to tell the computer that you don't have halogen fog lights.

Jeep Gladiator Gladiator model question 1679537567179

Actually, it depends. There is a Willys sport, which falls in between the Sport and Sport S. Then, there's a Willys trim, which falls between the Freedom and Overland. It will depend on what his Maroney sticker says. So no it's not just a sport. Is it just a Gladiator, yes, but it's not a Rubicon either. It all depends on the base option package.

If you plan on modifying the jeep, I wouldn't waist your time worrying about LED turn signals. I'd get a set of "Takeoff" "Highline" fender flares from a Rubicon or Mojave. This will enable you to increase the size of your tires a size or two without suspension mods. Just make sure you get takeoff's from a LED equipped vehicle. A buddy of my absolutely scored on LED headlights, Highline flares, steel bumpers and a Rubicon take off suspension. It enabled him to run 35x11.5x17's on factory sport rims. He secured all for well under 1,000. If you plan on running 35 or 37 12.5's, you may have to rethink some of the items, but the Highline flares are an excellent choice to provide clearance.

Just my opinion of course...

The tires on it are Firestone Destination M/T2 size 255/75/R17. From what I understand the OEM size tire is a 285/70/R17 so I'll probably go back to that size once these are done.

285’s are the Rubicon/Mojave tire(33”), those 255’s are the stock 32” Willys tire

Best unknown aspect of the Willys model is D44s front and rear, good upgrade from the Sport.
