I am looking to getting my Gladiator lifted soon and I had a question regarding wheels and tires. How big of tires can fit on the stock Overland wheels? I was hoping to avoid getting new wheels.

Thank you.

I have 295/70/18s which is basically a 35 equivalent for the most part. I no longer have them on my overland wheels anymore considering I got aftermarket wheels recently and remounted them on the new wheels but I ran those for nearly two years on the overland wheels. I'll actually be selling my overland wheels here soon along with a fifth matching spare. 295s are like the sweet spot for that wheel. Others have also did 275s.

Check out my build thread in the beginning especially the first couple pages since new tires was one of my first upgrades. Not only shows more pics of them after installed but I had a lot of commentary from others looking to do the same. So may answer some questions besides the abundance of other threads on this topic. Also I included a few older pics here below

You can go as big as 37x12.50 on the stock wheels. Obviously you'd need the lift and probably spacers to clear that. But they'll work.

What’s going on with the Discount website? Still down for maintenance?
The website now is up and working at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I am upgrading my tires in my stock '20 Overland and keeping the factory wheels for now, I only drive in sand off road...how is the noise level of the Coopers on the road? Also, have you had any death wobble issues, before or after the tire change? Thanks for any input...

Your question has been answered, now a piece of advice.

If you go to 17" wheels your options open up and your costs go down.

Coopers are amazing in almost any category considering they're ATs. They're probably the quietest as far as road noise. Little to none.
No death wobble issues at all. I ran my stock wheels for nearly two years before earlier last year upgrading wheels. Even then I remounted the same coopers on them considering they're still practically new. In all honesty I'd probably buy them again when it's time.

Not apples to apples, but with a 1.5" wheel spacer we ran 38x13.50r17 milestar Patagonias on the stock JLUR wheels for years. I wouldn't run that wide a tire with square edge tread design as the wheel may be too narrow for it to sit flat. The milestars are more of a balloon tire/ rounded edge design so it wasn't a problem. Had no wear issues or bread issues and we wheeled it hard aired down to 10psi all over the country. Yes it's out of the manufacturer recommended spec.
