Has anyone ever used a Neo-Dyne motorcycle lift to haul a 800lbs touring bike in the box of their Gladiator? I have a 2020 Overland with no lift and stock suspension.

I don't own one. But the lift looks like it weighs about 180 lbs if I'm doing my kG to lbs conversion right.

Figure 1000 lbs total. That's fine. You will be at or slightly above max payload. But I've had my Mojave maxed out and you didn't even feel it.

Remember that these load limits aren't hard numbers. Its not like the truck drives perfectly right up until the number, then it explodes when you go over it.

There is a gradual decrease in performance and safety margins as you go up in weight. People use their Gladiators as overland vehicles driving off road with much more than your bike weighs. Putting 1000 lb in the back then driving gently on the street (which is how I always drive with a bike in the back) is absolutely Childs play to this truck.

I dont' know if you have any use for it. But for the money you will spend on that lift, you could get a really nice trailer.

My utility trailer is what I use when I really have to haul "truck" type stuff. I've had 3000 lb of gravel, power equipment, mulch, etc. The bed is totally flat 5x8 ft and is only 16 inches off the ground. I drove my dad's Harley right up the ramp while walking along side it. No problems.

I just purchased a 2023 High Altitude and recently bought a Neo dyne lift. I have just mounted it in the bed of my Gladiator with the boltless mounting system. I have a 2022 BMW K1600B Grand America and the lift itself works super great but I found it sagged too much when the bike was loaded. I installed a set of Timber Grove air bags and they worked flawlessly. It now sits level and ride super smooth with the bike in the bed. I think my K1600 and your Goldwing weigh about the same. I haven’t tried it on a long trip yet but I’m sure there will be no problems with it.

I purchased them right from Steven at Timber Grove. Yes, very easy to install, just remove the stock bump stops and bolt the bags in their place. They outboard of the springs which I think is better than the ones that you put inside the springs.

my wife and I are going to the Rocky Mountains in July so l will give it a good test then. Do those springs effect the ride when you are empty?

Yes I did, cut it to proper base rails length. It took a little time to assemble but it was super easy because it is engineered so well.
