Just buy it and keep that Gladiator! Life is too short to not enjoy it :)

I appreciate everyone chiming in.
Have decided to keep gladiator I originally bought it with the intention to keep it for the long haul and am gonna stick to my guns.
The high fuel prices and high interest rates have me a bit frustrated with trying to purchase a new ride.
will explore a challenger when gecko Mojave is paid for.

Mine either, well at least for another year and half until Gladiator is paid off... but then I think it will be full build time
I financed mine for 36 mos.......so I can't wait to get that monthly payment off the books

I would definitely keep the Gladiator. I bought mine as my “retirement “ vehicle, intending on it being the last new vehicle I would buy, at least, theoretically. I’ve always had a 4x4 of some sort, CJ’s, and a bunch of Broncos. But, I’ve always had a quick/fast car on the side. We had a 2005 Magnum SRT8 back in the day, and it was a blast. Fastest car I ever owned. Currently, my “hot rod” is a 2011 Crown Vic Interceptor that I dropped a 5.4 into. I’ve had a couple of Hemi rams, and the Hemi is the only thing I miss with the Gladiator. I wouldn’t mind being able to put a 5.7 in it, but seriously doubt I ever will. At my age, too fast equals too much adrenaline, which can equal a heart attack!

EVERY time I’ve had a fast car… corvette, gto… fzr, cbr, Really anything faster than a GTI I regret it pretty quick. They’re too much. Unless you’re a complete child and drive in the triple digits all the time, you’re in arrested territory before you hit third gear. They just have no good place to use them… unless you’re really into drag racing, which I’ll never understand.

I’m much happier with my 4x4 and something like a gti, abarth or mx5 etc. things that can be fun in the real world. I leave the super cars and “modern muscle” for forza. Frankly the most fun I’ve ever had in a car was either 1st gen new mini copper s or the 500 abarth. Could drive the snot out of them anywhere.

Good choice, in my opinion. Part of me would like a toy fast car again someday, but I’d have no interest in that being my daily driver.

I would find that much horsepower to be frustrating unless I lived in Wyoming or someplace else sparsely populated. All that horsepower and nowhere to use it. Plus, if you're cracking into it to get to 25 or 35 mph (typical speed limits where you begin from a stop), people will look at you like you're a complete idiot. I am one that looks, just to see if they lose control and crash.
