Good luck on clarification! When I ordered my '22 from a different discounted dealer well known on this forum there were no bonus cash incentives. However upon delivery and pickup Jeep had announced a $1750 incentive on my model, so I was pleasantly surprised to get an additional discount when I signed the papers.

I have a feeling you'll need to take delivery during the promotional time period to get the 3k off, but fingers crossed for you!

Every mnfr works differently, but here's how Ford worked when I sold them and how I believe Jeep works now:

Rebates are locked in at time of order, however if the rebate is greater at delivery the customer can dump the locked in rate and take the delivery incentive.

Hoping to get clarification today :)
I was confused because I literally got off the phone with another dealership a few hours before seeing this post and they specifically told me the 3,000 bonus cash was NOT price protected and would only apply if it was still active after the vehicle came in and I signed paperwork at delivery.
I would double and triple check on that. Dealerships lie about such things in the hope you come in today and buy off the dealership lot stock to take advantage of the rebate now.

Thats what I'm hoping to clarify here.
When I bought my wrangler I spoke with(not kidding) 33 different dealerships within a 500 mile radius. They all told me different things/provided me obviously incorrect information that was easily researchable. Koons and Tri-Cities were the only two that were up front about everything.

I just need to make sure I won't get screwed out of 3k because if there's no bonus cash, I might as well wait until the 2024s are out and order one of them.

The last time I ordered the sales manager who was consistently accurate about several things told me that he could lock a rebate as long as it wasn’t a “finance” offer. So, I’d take that to mean that any bonus cash rebate is lockable. Oh and by the way, make sure they confirm that they entered it as price locked, because it is not an automatic thing or so I was told. So, maybe ask for something stipulating the price lock in writing, uh, just for your “records”. I’ll also agree with the prior post saying that you could later choose new rebates once your vehicle arrives and you draw up paperwork. Now, I might recommend that you make sure to secure that with some deposit as I seem to recall a deposit was a stipulation to get a valid price lock. Btw, I wrote a simple contingency into my order contract with a refundable deposit so I would have wiggle room to argue a way out should they try anything nefarious. However, everything went smoothly on my last order / purchase.
Cheers!

Sorry for the delay. Yes the 3000 is a price protected rebate and can be locked in as long as the vehicle is ordered before 6pm on 7/5.

For rebates, it would be whatever is available at ordering or time of delivery (whichever is greater). For example, if the vehicle was ordered today, the 3000 is locked in. If the same order came in next month and the rebate changed to 1000, because the order was placed with a 3000 rebate, that would be the rebate at delivery as that is the greater amount. Now if that order came in, and there is a 4000, then the rebate would be 4000 as that is the greater amount. You would not be able to combine both this months rebates and next months rebates as it would be a one or the other. But would use whichever is the greater amount.

Hopefully this answers and clarifies everything.

Koons is very upfront and a pleasure to deal with. Im in the middle of waiting for my second Mojave order with them due to getting laid off just as my first order came in. They took care of me and treated me right as I had to pass on that one. Just placed my second order and it’s gone even smoother than the first. IMO you can’t go wrong with them. I put my second order in on a Saturday and after a couple of emails I had a VON in a matter of hours.
