Decided to go with LOD signature as I want to flat tow behind the camper. Has anyone mounted the Badlands Apex in this bumper? Been searching threads and have not seen anyone actually do this combo. I have read the the Warn Xeon works and is similar in size to the badlands. I saw a video where there was fitment issues on the RR Arcus and they had to modify how the cables came out of the winch, doesn’t look hard but I don’t want to have to modify it- I am really looking for a bolt on installation.

I have the Quadratec Q series winch mounted on my LOD stubby. Not sure if the dimensions are similar but the winch def fit.

The fit was much tighter than it wason my JKU but that’s mostly bc the grille on the JT flares out a bit more.

Otherwise, there was no modification needed.

You might want to go to the website and see if they have the measurements for the winch spot on LOD bumper. Most bumpers where the winch sits down inside the bumper will only accommodate a winch that's about 22". Most bumpers where the winch sits on top will accommodate bigger. Most being the key word. Not all.

The reason I say research is because the Badlands Apex is about 24" and the Badlands ZXR is about 21.5". If it's a bumper where the winch sits down inside the bumper, you may not be able to use the Apex.

But I would check the specs on the bumper first.

It's a tight fit. The power cable will contact the grill if you don't relocate.

Thanks for the reply, are you saying it “will contact the grill and therefore won’t fit” or “will contact but you can make it fit”. The picture you posted, did you relocate it to the side or is it coming out that back? I can’t tell from the photo.

They’re all the same. Mild steel box with a generic hole for a winch. About 160-200lbs cantilevered in front of the front axle. Shifting bias further forward.

It fits, but will make contact. Cable has already been relocated in the pic.
