I had the dreaded dead aux battery over the weekend and decided to delete the aux battery after replacing the main battery Sunday afternoon. I put the new battery on the charger overnight however this morning the Jeep started fine but now my voltage is only showing 12.6 on the instrument cluster. Is that normal after a delete? In the past I’ve had 14.1 or 14.2 V.

Should be low-mid 12's with the Jeep off or the ESS engaged, and mid 13's-mid 14's with the engine running depending on the charge state of the battery.

depending on the charge state of the battery.
This is the key. It won't always be at 14v if it doesn't need to be. If your battery is healthy, it will drop to 12.6-12.8 when running since it doesn't need to constantly try to recharge it.

What you're experiencing is exactly what I'd expect with a new fully-charged battery.

Ok sounds good. I notice with driving the Jeep at highway speeds the voltage stays constant at 12.7 but when letting off the accelerator the voltage goes up to 14.1 and goes back down to 12.7 at idle. The new battery was on the charger all night. Everything seems to function correctly. I just wasn’t sure if I needed to drop the extra coin on a new aux battery and hook everything up!
