EDIT: Fix posted below.

Mirror on the right door is not working on a 2020:
  1. Th functions on mirror (heater, positioning motor, blind indicator) are not working. The rest of the door functions work:
    1. Window goes up and down
    2. Door locks operate as expected
    3. No issues with remote start
    4. Subtle door mood lighting works and dims
  2. Left / Driver door works as expected (including the mirror control switch)
  3. Before it broke it would work intermittently. It did not stop working afterI took the doors off.
What I have tried
  1. Checked for bent pins (no pins appear bent)
  2. Replaced mirror (still not working)
Has anyone had a similar problem or can anyone think of what might be causing this?

Is there anyway to check the mirror connectors (both where he door connects to the vehicle) and where the mirror connects to the door harness (when removing mirror)?

This screams bent pins at the door connector to me. Or loose internal connector that mounts to the mirror. Simply undoing the 3 bolts for the mirror will reveal that connection for you.

I replaced the mirror - new mirror did not work and those pins all seemed fine.

All those systems are going to be at one connection point.

I would disconnect at the mirror and on the harness side with the rear window defrost button on, check Pin 1 with a multimeter and you should have battery voltage. If not, work your way back to the next connector on the schematic.

Thank you - My dad mentioned to me last night that his friend who works at a dealer told him it might have something to do with the rear heater...

The mirror assembly or the mirror glass? Also this is almost certainly a wiring issue not a part issue

Fixed the issue today.

Fix: Wiring harness connector for the mirror that is inside of the door panel was not connected. This was most likely a door assembly defect, as there is no way for the connector to come out if it is properly inserted and the connector clicks.

Inside the door there are a lot of harnesses that come off of the main harness that comes into the door. The problem was where the main harness interfaces with the mirror harness. It was not where the mirror harness interfaces with the mirror (the connector that you see when you remove the mirror).

So you had a 2020 Gladiator that has had a disconnected door harness this whole time?

Yes, kind of.

Was just the mirror harness.

It worked periodically from day 1 and everytime I would bring it to the dealer (which was always a pain to get an appointment that fit my schedule) it would work. One time it didn't and they ordered a bunch of parts. Then when I finally got an appointment to get it fixed it was about a month after the warranty and they would not fix it under warranty.

Never really noticed it much since I didn't need the blind spot and never adjusted it.

Just returned off of lease and needed to make sure it was fixed.

That's just plain wrong - when you go in and talk of an issue, they make note of the issue, from then on it's covered even if it takes 6 months to get the parts because it was reported and noted while still under warranty.
Once it's on record as a problem, then they are to fix it. You can't help that they didn't have an appointment until after it was out of warranty- as long as you reported it, and they acknowledged it.
Too late now, but, note that for the future...........
