Bought these because the Grimm Off-Road Kit has been on back order since forever. But I over looked that all these bolts are Grade 8 while the factory bolts are Grade 10.9. The max torque values are significantly lower on these Grade 8 bolts.

Is it safe to assume that, if I followed Grade 8 torque values I would be way below factory spec. If I followed factory spec, I break these bolts.

What should I do?

I believe SAE (or imperial or whatever you want to call it) grade 8 is roughly equivalent to metric 10.9.
Might have to buy some new wrenches
DAMN YOU SAE... DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!

Some metric sizes are close to SAE sizes, but many times you won't get a good, snug fit if you change from one to the other. Also, torque values are very dependent on the lubricant type (or lack thereof) on the threads.

Super extra paranoid after the paint pen…. Buy flexloc nuts. ? $10-12 a piece but hands down best nuts out there.
