My truck has been with the dealer going on 9 days now. They are saying it’s going to take another week to get a new fusible link from the manufacturer . I’m so frustrated! @JeepCares any way to help it get there faster?

That's not what they do.

There is a strike going on, all parts are delayed.

Be patient.

9 days? Those are rookie numbers compared to many who have been waiting months for recall solution and parts to come in.

Thank you for tagging us. Although we are unable to expedite your repairs, or ask the dealership to prioritize your vehicle, we can provide you support while the Gladiator is in for work. Feel free to send our team a private message with more details to get started.

How often do these links go bad? My repair is covered under warranty but I’m still perplexed at what caused the issue. Especially with jeep being so young and only having 25K miles

They really do not go bad per se in and of themselves unless they have experience a short to cause the one segment or all of the fuse array to blow.

Mishandling of a battery swap of either the aux, main or both can blow it. In addition people not paying attention either doing a aux battery delete or working in the general area of the fuse array with the cover off and shorting something.

thanks. Haven’t had any work done to it other than oil changes. Everything has been cosmetic. Had to jump it a few weeks back after a cold snap, ran fine till the next then had to jump it a few times. Guessing it was the last jump that cause it.
