2 door
Auto up windows
More USB front and back (if 4door)
Stock 35's
Computer monitoring that doesn't drain your crap batteries.
Locking rear seat under storage
License plate lights that don't blind the backing camera.
Get rid of the aux battery and it's stupid placement.
More aluminum panels
Upper and lower tie downs in the bed
Design easier air filter access (engine and cabin).
Stock belly skids (including control arms and diff covers)

I'm sure there are engineers laughing at the requests if we want an inexpensive vehicle.

HVAC controls that aren't integrated w. the touch screen/radio.
I liked the three knob control in the JK.
I have HVAC control without using the screen.

Build an extra cab w. a 6.5' bed on it. I don't need the huge back seat.
I waited three years for that model and finally gave up.

ESS off button w. memory and a way to cancel the three horn honk when I get out of the truck and shut the door with the engine running and the fob in my pocket.

I have the 3 knobs controls (intentionally). Just have to order it that way. I'm becoming more certain that the radio with all the controls is causing battery draw, killing batteries with constant memory running.

Full electric drive train with a small motor that is a generator that can provide power to run the vehicle. This is how diesel trains run and there is a ressy, it is effecient.

Disable ESS button that remembers last setting
Disable horn honk when closing door with engine running and keys outside of vehicle
They can't delete those - it's not going to happen.
The latter especially is a safety thing. (and there are simple work-arounds)

A temperature sensor that reads the current temperature without having to drive a distance to get a real time reading. Sucks to park it in the evening when temps are in the 60's and then do a remote start and it is in the 20's and heated seats /heater will not work until you drive a short distance.
That's an idea - and MOVE that sensor because if you put a snow plow on a Jeep and try to drive it, that sensor gets engine bay air sucked forward across it and kills the HVAC.
Move that sensor to anyplace else.

- Factory installed brake controller (so that you don't loose the cig lighter with installing the Mopar one)
- Two more accessory switches, love them but 4 isn't enough
Yes.

Hurricane or at least Etorque option with the 3.6

You'll never see stock 35s and stock armor - not and keep payload and towing numbers. Optional, yeah, but can't be stock. 35s cut payload and towing numbers. The weight of the skid plates and armor would screw with their EPA numbers as well as payload and towing.

IMO, the air filters are super easy to get to - easier than some vehicles for sure.

The base 2024 Tacoma has power locks/windows, LED lights, and class IV hitch with 7 pin wiring for $38k. You get none of that for $40k with Jeep, they even pop you for $500 - $900 if you want a color. Jeep could at least pretend to be competitive.
And yet the JT has removable doors and roof - that means a lot more steel and structure, a roll cage. That adds expense and weight.
Can't compare any other truck unless you start figuring the cost of making that other truck pass all safety and other regs, the extra structure and connectors and so on.
