Good day all, I am probably beating a dead horse with this question, or its just a "Jeep" thing. Is there any resolutions for keeping the drivers & passenger side windows "cleaner" when its raining or dirty water coming up from the windshield between the side mirrors & doors? It's actually a driving hazard and find it difficult to see out the windows and view the mirrors due to the messy windows.
Any solutions?
Thanks in advance..
Cheers,

You mean like mud flaps? If so, yes, the horse has been beaten.

HAHA... No I wish it was that simple.
I talking about the glass in the door panels. dirty water coming through between the mirrors and door frame and smearing up all the glass and not being able to see out the window and to the mirrors...

I know you said no to mud flaps, but does that mean you have them already?

I ask because I have mudflaps, and I drive in rain/muck/mud and haven’t experienced this phenomenon.

Maybe there's something lost in translation. Mudflaps are also available to go behind the front tires and not just the rear. And the glass panels you speak of, are those the windows on the door? Or do you have other glass panels in the Canadian model?

Picture attached is not my jeep, but the driver side window is obviously been cleaned in this photo, and the rear window is dirty. My question is, the drivers side window get pretty dirty even on city streets and highway driving. And the dirty water from the front windscreen shoots past and deflects off of the mirror and sprays on the drivers side window. Is there an after marker "deflector" that can reduce this issue? Like a cover that is placed between the mirror and window so the water is delected away from the vehicle so its easier to see out the window and mirror.

Use packing tape. He also doesn't have mud flaps which would alleviate any mud up by the glass.

Doesn't need mud flaps because the filty water is coming off of the front windshield. between the gap between the mirror and the door frame. see photo attached..

Depends who you ask
Put ceramic coating on the windows. It will repel the water and mud it wouldn’t deflect it like you are suggesting but it keeps the windows a lot cleaner.

Thank you for the suggestion, I will definitely look into that and give it a try. Cheers.

I used wind/rain deflectors on my last vehicle, and I don't plan to do it again. While it can be nice to keep the window cracked when sleeping inside or to get fresh air during storms, it's not worth the added noise, turbulence, and difficulty cleaning under the deflectors. They worked fine for a while, but eventually the 3M tape started to let go, causing buzzing and leaks.

Deflectors are a short-term solution and they cause more problems than they solve - at least in my opinion.

I also have deflectors and they don't do anything for what I am mentioning.

Yep, that's pretty much what I said. I was chiming in on deflectors because they are frequently mentioned as a solution for your concerns. I didn't want you to waste your time and money on something that doesn't do what you want.
