Has anyone had Tazer issues with other Android based head units or is it just the Phoenix? There are a few "live" Tazer functions I use and would't want to lose.

Just following up on this thread to see if you guys are all still happy with this unit. I have an 8.4 Uconnect unit where the navigation and xm radio stopped working. Dealer replaced both batteries after the Jeep died and both features never came back after battery replacement. If Jeep won’t replace the radio I’m seriously considering this unit.

I believe it was previously brought up but I wanted to confirm that this unit will provide navigation? Xm radio won’t work directly and you need to stream through the app? Backup camera isn’t as clear as OEM?

Easy plug and play install wrapped up yesterday. Has anyone had sound quality issues with this and the alpine premium system? Unit clips now at moderate volume, and is nowhere near as loud as the system was with the OEM Hoping to clear it up with EQ settings...I haven't gotten into them yet.

Has anyone noticed a performance difference in wired vs wireless carplay?

I found one on sale for cheap and installed it today. I noticed the same thing. Did you find any remedies? I haven't had a chance to really dig into it.

Ended up bypassing the factory amp and used an alpine 5 channel. It was a lot of work! Still never sounded great. The rca outs are very low voltage, not even 2V. Good luck!

I bet I can clean it up if I want to try and splice in a dynamic range expander......
God that sounds like a miserable project.

I have this same radio and am fairly happy with it as well. One thing that bugs me that I have been unable to resolve is the warning chimes for lane departure and rear park assist do not work. The lights still work for both, but I can't get the sound. Did you have this issue?

Did you ever find anything out on this? The seller hasn't been much help
