Speed tested the Pentastar 3.6 engine today and got pulled over on the beach. Yes, on the beach, by the National Park Service and yes I was doing way over the posted speed limit. However I did not realize the speed limit had been reduced from 25 to 15mph for the entire 62 miles during turtle nesting season. Park Ranger was very cool and I was very, very much in the wrong but he let me go with a warning!!!

Picture or it didn't happen ...

Last time I was running PINS, someone in our group got pulled over and he did not get a warning. LOL How was the run? I can say, doing the whole there and back in one day is a long day at 15MPH.

for the dogs while waiting for this to arrive...

I got the drawer ONLY on the 40% side... Looks like around three more weeks. The Dogs can't wait they hate this temporary thing... But, as I tell them, it's better than staying home right?
Is that Goose Gear?

Thanks to a ridiculously generous listing on the forum member marketplace, I finally got a Goose Gear rear seat delete. I have a 100lb+ hound dog that just cannot get comfortable in the back seat, and I had no luck creating a rear seat delete that didn’t look terrible. I’m a seriously happy dude today, and the dog approves, too.

None of your business :)
Still in honeymoon with my oil burner. Nothing much but the following on order:
1) Tyger bed cover (ran this on my Ford Ranger for 3 years and it was rock solid and totally waterproof and let me store tons of my fishing/camping gear!)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XMDHWJT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

2) Auxito LED bulbs for headlights
https://www.auxito.com/collections/...icon~ml_High Beam and Low Beam - Off-road Use

3) Window visor (read some good reviwes on the gladtiator).
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B6FX7T3R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And received the NXT Gladiator blind spot mirrors and did a test drive around the block. The blind spot is SOOOO much better. I know Amazon has some for $15 but I'd highly recommend this!

I've been thinking about getting him to make me a set as they look good. Do they hang low to the point where they are in the way or hit your head getting in and out?
I was used to a “duck and roll” in technique with the handles that wrapped around the bar before but couldn’t use them anymore since I put the sunrider flip top on for the season. These are a little closer to the roll bar so probably won’t have to duck as much haha. @darksidedesign was great to work with and had them quickly!

Good to hear. Thanks for the input.

Didn't do anything to the JT, but I am prepping for a lift install.

Put anti-seize on the threads of the adjustable control arms and sway bar end links and set them to recommended install length then snugged down the jam nuts to keep anything from spinning.

Ordered shocks and carrier bearing spacer.

So once everything gets here AND the weather gets more predictable, I'll be crawling under the JT in the driveway.

The good news is, working a 4-10 job now so I get 3 day weekends.

Thanks for the extra pics as I've seen some posted before. They really look nice and we had a conversation about color options but that's it. I'm sure he could make them slightly shorter if I asked that way they wouldn't hang quite as low. Did you use the factory bolts? It looks like you have different ones on one end of the handles.
I 3d printed some shoulder washers to be able to put the rear ones further back. My little kids couldn’t reach them in the normal location. I can send you some if you want.

Ah I see now, I think. Looks like you have the handles further towards the back of the truck on the back doors if I'm seeing things correctly. I'm assuming they normally go one more bolt location forward towards the front of the truck. Makes sense now, I appreciate the generous offer on the washers but I don't have any little ones around anymore unless the grandkids are in town and 3 of them are under 2 so no issues with them trying to get in by themselves.....yet.

BTW had to pull both front fenders off again. One of the fender lights had an issue so they sent me a new one. I ended up ordering a wiring harness for plug n play that had a 3 light option coming off of the harness so I ended up removing the taps and sealing the wires where they were attached. I ordered more clips since the first time most of them broke. Thought that it was funny that I had 5 clips left over from the first removal so I ordered 20 more and this time only 1 clip broke on one side and 3 clips broke on the other. At least I have plenty left over for next time lol.
