Sorry. I didn’t know how long I was going to take to get here, so didn’t know if I was going this week or next week. Since I got here today, tomorrow is the day since I’m doing airport pickups on Saturday. I didn’t want to plan something and be late, having people wait for me.

Jumped on to late today and just seen it. I had to go into work for a minute this morning and then it turned out I didn't need to. Would have went with ya.

Hopefully he did ok and didn't get a ton of pinstripes like I did when I ran it. Spent days correcting the paint. I should of warned him that a lot of the trails are super tight out there. I'd rather be rubbing on skid plates vs paint.

I did fine. I already had Colorado and Utah pinstripes. It was time for some salt stripes. It was pretty fun. I put the shocks in Baja mode and went nuts. I did lots of it around 40mph. I even got to use the winch. No. I didn’t get stuck. A tree fell across the trail. A sawzall, 180’ of winch line, and a snatch block. Trail is mostly clear now. Took about two hours. It was about 16” in diameter. And I made friends with a small rattler. We were friends from a safe 10’ distance.

I feel the badge trail is not the best trail in Ocala NF. Why they picked it I don't know. If they would pull a little more maintenance and maybe widen it in some spots it would get more traffic.

Agreed. I could have skipped the rest of the side loop I was on, but it seemed like more fun to figure out how to move a large tree by myself.

I agree. I little trail maintenance and I think I’d have seen other people. I saw one taco and one dilapidated 2009ish grand Cherokee that was barely running. I don’t know about other trails, but imagine you’re correct on that point, as you’ve clearly been on them. On the other hand, if they’d just stop adding badge trails every five minutes, I’d have a shot at getting them before I’m 80. When did they add Georgia?! I just noticed it last night.
