I got the Banks iDASH and Pedal Monster installed, removed all the old lettering and badging from the previous shop and also the dealership. Put on the new lettering and got all the recovery gear organized in the deck'd storage. I also stopped by the dealership and they got the parts ordered for the HPFP recall and said it would take about 3-4 weeks to get the parts in. Next up is either running power to the center of the Dash or taking it to the local shop to see about getting RockSlide Engineering steps put on this but the side rock guards and rock sliders are all kit and all bolt together so it is a little more involved than just removing he current ones and installing the new ones.

LOL, what dealership told you 3-4 weeks? I've been waiting for like 6 months on mine at this point for the HPFP.

Ancira Jeep in San Antonio, TX. We bought our Wrangler 392 from them and they were the best dealership around on price and I have had a few people recommend their service department over other dealerships and have been told that they have a few Master Techs that corporate flies them out to other dealerships to either help train technicians or help solve issues so IDK maybe they get parts faster but I was told the same thing on the phone when I called and talked to them and when I stopped by and they got everything entered into the computer so we will see if it is true or not.

I ended up getting bored so I decided to go ahead and run power to the center of the dash. I didn't plan on doing this today so I didn't have the correct USB cables so it isn't quite finished and I didn't take very good pics of the beginning of the install but I'll link a video of the same install I did except I didn't mount mine in the glovebox.

Parts used:
Dual Port USB 3.0 male to 2 Port Type C x2
Type C Flat 90-Degree USB Cables x4 - Aren't installed yet
Cigarette Lighter Splitter Power Adapter
3/8 Eyelet Terminal to Female Cigarette Lighter

I hope it’s true for ya. From everyone’s experiences here, I can tell you some can get a part in a few weeks and others seemed to be doomed to wait until the thing fails.. if it ever does.

I decided to go with different USB cables just in case I need change the cables later on plus I didn't want to have a whole bunch of extra cables just laying around up there. I put the extension cables in all 4 ports and then only used two of them. I have the other two open for when I use the gopro or ipad.

Parts:

90 Degree USB Type C 4inch Extension Cable x2
USB Type C Right Angle 100W 6inch x2

Well it was faster than expected. The dealership just called and the parts are in for the recall. Since I am going out of town this week it is going in on the 13th to have it done.

That is awesome news for you. I wish I had a dealership that could get parts in stock that quick. Godspeed to you.

When I was debadging this I accidentally melted part of the ecoDiesel emblem. I decided to change it out for the newer 3.0 Diesel emblem that comes on the Farout Edition. Looks a little better.

Got the HPFP Recall done on Monday. Since the recall was done I got the Banks Derringer installed as well. I still have the 41.22 Kill switch to install, the parts are on order for the Rockslide Engineering Steps and I am gathering all the parts to do the Front Trail Camera install.

This is the video I followed to install the Banks Derringer as the one that comes with it is does not work for the Gladiator EcoDiesel.

My initial plan was to build my current 23 Willys Gasser

Maximus.jpg

but then all the Gladiators went on sale and at the end of the day I wanted a Diesel but at the time I couldn't get one because of the Recall. I started looking for a Diesel and couldn't find one with all the options I wanted on it. I happened to come across this one. It has pretty much everything I wanted on it as far as options go plus almost everything on it as far as a build goes as well for a heck of a price so I sold my current Gladiator and picked up this one instead. Here is the list of current mods done to it:

UD60 Axles w/ 4.88
3 inch Diesel Adventure-X "No Limits" Long Arm System
Recon DSS
6.5 inch Dual King Coilover Lift
AntiRock Rear Swaybar
Motobilt front and rear fenders
Motobilt front and rear bumpers
Motobilt Rocker Guard with steps
Warn Evo VR12S winch
Redneck Ram
Steer Smart Drag link and tie rods
KMC Grenade Crawls
42inch Nitto Trail Grapplers,
Spod Bantom
Midland Radio
Decked Rear Storage

It simply looks angry. No grille enhancement necessary. Wow! I haven’t gone through all the threads, but are you the son of a middle eastern king, or did you hit the lottery?
That is super fine and Tank does great work. It looks like it has enough lift to run 47's. You may be able to adjust the Kings and lose some lift so it can sit lower.
Man, you guys amaze me! Every post I read shocks me. 47s? Holy lord I’m just getting 285s on my JTS

LOL, no, just happen to be at the right place at the right time. This one I bought from the dealer like this. It was during one of their sales where they were offering employee pricing so after the taxes and everything I ended up paying MSRP for it so I got the lift and tires for free basically. It was a 3.5inch ready lift on 35s with Black Rhino Wheels.

I don't know if I will go to 47s as the 42s so far are running good and already make it difficult enough to get in and out but the new rockslide engineering steps should help with that when they come in.

Finally got the RockSlide Engineering Steps installed. Makes it way easier to get in and out this thing now. I ended up having a local shop do the install since I didn't have all the required tools to modify the Motobuilt Rocker Guards to work with them.

Getting ready for a trip up to the top of Utah and hoping to hit some the trails in Colorado on the way home. Still undecided if I want to stop in MOAB or not. Got the e-brake adjusted, installed the 41.22 kill switch, did the AUX Battery delete and removed the decked storage from the back.
