2024 Grille with hood lock cutout

What on earth does this thing actually look like?
Genuine Mopar Rubicon 20th Anniversary Grille With Hood Lock Option

I have a BOLT hood lock, and have very little interest spending a few hundred on something sight unseen on the hope and prayer that it is what I am hoping it is.

Has anyone seen the 2024 grille with hood lock cutout yet? Pictures? Help?

The only I know of is this which includes the grill so you don't have to cut anything out.
Plus,you key the lock to match your factory key.

that kit looks identical down to every part with the BOLT kit. I've reached out to BOLT to see if their insert is direct from MOPAR. The BOLT kit also uses my key.

I did a little more digging, and the mopar lock says not applicable to 21 and up model years, which is nonsense because the hood is the same. Makes me think there's a licensing deal in here somewhere that expired. Maybe BOLT used to contract manufacture for Mopar and they sold it at their own, but lackluster sales made them cancel the deal after a few years? No way to be sure, but i'm reasonably certain they are identical products.

it is not compatible. I specifically ordered my gladiator without that option because I knew I wanted a locking hood.

I think (don't quote me on this) i later found out they sell front camera relocation kits, but by that point it was too late to change anything.

By "they" do you mean you think BOLT had a kit, or MOPAR?

Some sites say it fits the Gladiator, half true. The lock part fits but the grill doesn't

This is because the grille insert changed and which is also why this was never technically offered for the Gladiator as it uses the small opening style grill. We did our best to explain this here

Now in regards to the 2024 options when we first started researching the new grill design we came across this security option

After having not seen any production Wranglers or Gladiators with it I am starting to think it was not an available factory option for N .America.

We decided to keep offering it for those who want to build a custom solution for use with the mopar or Bolt aftermarket locks.

Lot more than what I payed. Around $100 , just have to cut your own grill opening for the Gladiator. The keyed lock works great. Just buy the wrangler kit, quick easy fix. You will need a rivet gun.

Wee cannot confirm this with 100% certainty but we believe so. The grille section is molded in color black plastic unless I am not understanding your question?

There are no pre-painted options for the 2024 style grille at this time from mopar/Jeep. There is a factory order Mopar Performance grille in satin black that we have all been waiting for to become an accessory but nothing yet.
