Dealership wanted $500 to do it. Got everything for $240 from advance auto and a guy is gonna throw them in for $100 on Thursday Morning. Does that seem like a pretty good deal. It's more work than I'd like to tackle and I need it done before we leave out on Friday to tow our camper to the beach. I got 91000 miles on the jeep and have been getting a little bit of rough idle and I'm hoping that will give the problem. No codes or lights but it's been doing it off and on after it sits. Seem to be fine while your driving or once it gets warm.
Book time for the spark plugs show
2 1/2 hours.

Interesting, because the TSBs related to spark plug replacement show only 2 hours for a Gladiator (2021 model year JT)

Maybe alldata hasn't updated their data? I've found that happens sometimes.

Yeah, the $500 was for the service package normally $650. They charge $110 a hour so labor would be around $275 to do it normally without the service.

It's been 40 years since I worked in the automotive industry and back then there were two different rates. Warranty and book time. Warranty always paid less.
I know when I put a new Hurst shifter in my 2010 Challenger RT the factory service manual had you removing all kinds of crap from underneath for some insane amount of hours.
It took me 1 hour from inside the car without going underneath.

You are bringing back memories of the same thing.............and you learned tricks for doing things, such as the blower fan motor replacement in 70s and 80s Chevrolet. Book had you removing all sorts of things. Found "removal" wasn't always necessary.
