Rough Country power running boards

Hi guys! would anyone who have these power step boards would know if there are any adjustments to fold the boards closer to the chassis to close the gap? I forgot to install the rear mounting plate. I also realized the original rock slider is not 100% straight. I checked the motors and don't know if there are any. Any information will be appreciated.

Hey bud I am having the same issue, did you ever figure out how to adjust gap?
