Before the year 2000, North American birds were regional, Eastern and Western. They did not cross over the imaginary north/south running divider, which was in essence the Rocky Mountain range. Something happened after 1999 that pushed them across.

This reminds me of when I retired from the power plant. Had to fill out some paperwork from HR. On it, it asks what race I was. I wrote "Alien/Human Hybrid" for Other. Turn in the paperwork. Week later, I got it back and they wanted it corrected. I put down the samething again and sent it in. Got it back again, and sent it back again. Then I got a visit from HR. Kim wanted to know why I put that down. I said prove that we ain't. After our talk. She left chain smoking. Think she took up drinking again too. It's still on my retirement paperwork as "Alien/Human Hybrid".

I have several shirts like this that I could not wear to work because they were deemed "Offensive".
