My Icon shocks for my 2.5" lift need to be rebuilt. This is a daily driver so I need a temporary solution. Can I install my OEM Rubicon shocks for street driving while they are building rebuilt?

You could add shock extensions, just be careful not to bottom the shock out on a big impact if your bump stops are too short.

Buy a cheap set of correct length Rancho shocks. You can get four to fit your lift for $200. You will be using them again when you rebuild your shocks the next time.

Won’t be a problem temporarily. Your downtravel will only be 1.5-2” so definitely would stick to the pavement. If the lead time for rebuild is to long, I’d buy the cheapest shock extensions you could find though.
