Hi All,

I have been searching far and wide for a Jeep Gladiator - I found a new 2024 NightHawk Jeep which has the Trailer Tow & Aux Switch Group package. In short, they are offering $39,900 with the MSRP of $47,700.

Do you think this is a good price?

That is like 16% off when Stellantis is offering a 15% off MSRP incentive. That dealership is being tight.

I would say no, that is not a good deal off hand.

Hi All,

Is it a good price? I would say for the dealer, yes, for you, no. As Hootbro mentioned, the factory is already discounting the vehicle 15%. Then it is already a leftover, a year old when you drive it off the lot. Then there should be a dealer discount on top of that of several percent.

Just checking a local dealer here in the Miami area, they have 64 2024's in stock. Most are 10-13k below MSRP. For a few thousand more(46.4k), Jerry Ulm in Tampa has a bunch of 2025 Rubicons advertised. I nearly bought a Rubicon from them since they are a very large dealer and had, back in December, about 40 2024 Rubicons and Mojaves on the lot. I was to the point of buying a cheap airline ticket to Tampa and they would pick me up there (they are close to the airport).

Anyway, whatever prices you see advertised or quoted will not normally include the dealer BS and additional charges they try to add. Just offer the sales tax and a reasonable amount for the tags and whatever your State requires, add that to the price and that's it. Otherwise walk (or hang up and wish them a nice day).

In any case, best of luck in your search.

I can attest to don't even bother looking at the advertised prices at any dealership that is part of Morgan Auto Group. Mr. Miami is 100% correct that Jerry Ulm (and all Morgan dealerships) have huge (like over $4K) backend markups. Their various "fees" are not hidden and are clearly detailed in the small print at the bottom of every online vehicle listing. It has been my experience that you pay them, or walk away. With that said, I have bought Ram 1500s from them twice when their dealer discount more than covered the fees and the OTD was still better than any other deal. It's an annoying way to do business, but bottom line is bottom line.

I bought my 24 Nighthawk this past November for $35k ,before trading in. That was the local dealership's price ($34k offer for veterans). This is basically a Sport edition with a few extras, so no, your dealership is not making anyone a good deal with that price tag.

Go Rubicon or Mojave . Having a Rubicon myself and 118325 miles I can only attest to my personal experience and it's reliability thus far. Just replaced water pump 326 miles ago.
