I dont think its totally necessary to have a lift to run 35x12.50's, but wouldnt it look a lot better? I do not want to run 37's, the 35's are good enough. If you guys were gonna do 35's, would you do a lift, and if so, which one? I want a nice ride, definitely dont want to mess up the ride. Thanks!!

Do you need max articulation? If no. 35s no lift is fine. Sway bar disconnected and max wheel lift while turning can rub.

Stock shocks are crap and incredibly short. At the very least is want to upgrade those. A 1.5" spacer up front and some fox 2.0s for 0-2" lift will look better and work a million times better. Obviously a full kit will be even better but it's more than you need for 35s.

35s will rub with any slight articulation. That is why I did a leveling kit and rear 3/4" spacers. Since I have a metal bumper and a heavy winch, I added an extra .5" spacer in the front for a total of 2". I am still running 35s. Just remember that any lift will change geometry. Meaning that you will need additional components to make it right. Longer sway bar links, longer LCAs or geo brackets, adjustable track bar is you want to re-center the axle and shock extensions. Some say you don't need anything but the spacers but then they come back bitching about how their Gladiator rides like crap. I haven't had a chance to install the geo brackets and I can tell the difference from before the lift. It is a little flighty and wanders more with road imperfections and wind. Why? Caster is off.

If you didn't add bump stops you didn't do anything to prevent rubbing. Springs compress. A spring with an added spacer still compresses. Sure you might have a little more uptravel from ride height but under real articulation you'll rub all the same. Bump stops are what stop uptravel (unless of course your shocks are too long and they bottom out 1st, but that's even more wrong than thinking a spring spacer will prevent rub). If you want more uptravel add springs or spacers. If you want to prevent rub add bump stops.

The Teraflex came with bump stops but obviously I had installed the 35 tires when it was stock and before the level. Now I have no rub. But yeah, you are correct.

If you're really set on getting a lift kit Clayton Offroad is nice. I have their 2.5 Overland plus kit and am very happy with it

What size tires are those? Looks like you have the fox 2.0 with remote reservoir? Do you wish you had gone with an adjustable shock or you happy with that set up?

They are 35x12.50R17. I am happy with the FOX 2.0s but do wish I had spent the extra on the adjustable ones.
