I have read through this thread and almost everyone else is getting about 2-3 mpgs better than my 23 Mojave with 35s. It has the 4.10s, so I was expecting a drop. The new Nokian 35s are 2 lbs heavier than the stock AT3w, so slight drop expected. But what is frustrating is that I am getting 15.5-15.7 (both computer and hand calculated). I have had the JT since 3k and now have 5.8k. Is it going to get better after break in? And I have been trying to drive like an old man to see how good I can get the mpgs and I am on mostly 50-65mph highways.

My daughter's JK get 20.5-21.0 consistently in the same area, Flathead Valley, MT. I haven't even gone into the mountains yet.
I wish I got 15.5 MPG. On my JTR I’m lucky if I break over 15MPG driving around here. Highway is close to 19. But current average is 14.7 with 35” tires.

These numbers are closer in line with what I get.

On 37" KO2's, I get 16-17mpg with city only. I get 19-20 with 90% hihghway and when mixed equally I get around 18mpg. Not quite as good as my e-torque Wrangler got, but that was on 315's and 4.56's. I will take how my Mojhave drives over my Wrangler any day. It shifts smoother up and down and the longer wheelbase gives it a smoother ride.

What gear ratio are you pushing those 37” KO2s with?

My mileage as per the cluster is almost always in lock-step with the app on my phone. If it's off, I find that over 3 or 4 tanks, it comes out almost perfect.
The number on my dash matches what I see in FuelUp app, especially longer-term..

I suspect some of those finding it inaccurate also may not have done a odometer comparison and are going only by speedometer or other means when changing tire sizes. GI-GO as they say. If you haven't gotten the tire size truly nailed down in the BCM, you can't get an accurate read on the cluster.

Speedometers round the numbers, the odometer - not so much.

I believe I dialed in the new tire size to be pot on with the speedometer and GPS speed. My EVIC usually read 1 MPG below what I hand calculate but I never reset the MPG calculator after a refill. On the highway, the it reads higher than what I get. We only take the Gladiator on long trips only if we need to haul something or tow. Normally we take my wife's '22 Tiguan 4Motion for long trips. We always beat the EPA estimates by several MPGs. Rated at 29MPG but we usually get 32 or more. I do hate the Tiguan though. The loud chimes and alerts drive me nuts. If you open the door to get the mail and leave the engine running, that shit starts screaming at you. It loud enough that I am afraid it will wake up ancient spirits.

I stopped using the speedometer and use the GPS compared to the odometer. I found a fair difference in my case. 3 different adjustments, and got it spot on. Speedometer says 36 when the local radar signs say 35, but the odometer is spot-on.
I figured - the speedometer can read 50 but mean 50.5 and the GPS may read 50 but really mean 49.6 almost 1 mph off. Over a tank of gas, that can make a difference on the MPG readings.

I have a 2024 Rubicon that I got during the 20% off MSRP sale in February. I’m at about 2,000 miles and am getting 16 MPG mostly highway. I’m hoping it improves somewhat. I still drive my 2014 2Dr JK that’s rolling 35s and I get 18 in that. It would be nice if it got closer to that.
I bough a jeep because I love jeeps, if I wanted high gas mileage though I would have bought one of those ugly little Mavericks like my friend. He gets 30+, but it’s just a focus with ugly design 🤣

I'm an aggressive driver. I got about 16.5 mpg in a major city on 37s with stock 3.73s. Still too early to tell on 4.88s but according to dash data I've picked up 1 mpg and now I'm hovering at almost 18 mpg.

I should add that I live in relatively high elevation, over 7,000 which robs power and is mostly hills so my local driving MPGs are terrible as a result.

It really depends on if adult Bill is driving or the younger slightly dumber Bill is driving. Yes. They are the same person. Adult Bill normally sees between 18.5 -19.5 on his daily commutes. The other Bill normally sees 17-18 MPG. Adult Bill likes when the other one does drive on the weekends. Ot so much during the daily commutes.

So just got another oil change at 5700 miles and the mileage was noticeably better after half a tank. Getting closer to 16.5 now.
