I have a 2023 Willys with 4Auto and love it. We get a lot of snow and it works great. I dont do any hard off road but if I was setting up a truck for serious off road I would go with the standard transfer case.

So it's looking like no one has actually successfully done it, or if they have, are no longer here.

On the other hand, every "on the lot" Mojave X I can find actual pictures of shows that t-case. Hmmmm

I would think the window sticker would tell you.The one here in Temecula doesn't have it.It has the command trac.

No, the window stickers all say part time. In 2024 the X package came with SelecTrac. It was always part of the X package. No choice if you got the X package you got SelecTrac.
But for 2025, it's not listed as part of the X package, the window sticker doesn't list it, and yet every Mojito Mojave X JT I look up on the internet - with real pictures of the actual truck (you can tell as it says "plant mode" on the cluster or shows the dealership lot in the photo and so on) clearly shows SelecTrac!
The window stickers are wrong - or something is going on.

This is the same truck, above pic and this pic, showing the dealer lot and the newer color -

And another that shows the transfer case lever clearly marked 4H Auto -

If you zoom in you can see the 4H Auto on the cluster and on the transfer case lever - but the window sticker for this JT only shows the standard part time. The SelecTrac isn't listed under the X package like in the past. So - what's up? Window sticker lists only the standard part time, but this clearly has the full time.

I could - but then, don't pictures tell the story? That's the vehicle, the cluster, the shift lever.
I have looked at the photos of no fewer than 10 JT Mojave X on dealer lots (took a lot of time because some use stock photos instead of actually taking photographs, so had to sort through that). I also chose only the two newest colors to look at, to make sure they are more recent builds.

So unless Jeep is installing the WRONG cluster display, the wrong shift lever.......
A person would literally have to drive the thing and try to shift it into 4H auto.
Maybe one of them would do that just out of kindness, knowing I'm not a customer.
Or, I can wait until mine comes in, in May?

You should probably just leave the transfer case alone, and use what you get, the jeep engineers know best.

That's actually funny -
you should ask all of the forum members who specifically ordered the Selectrac or who love and use it.
Gee, if it didn't have any use, why is it standard on a 4xe or did so many actually want it specifically.
You missed out on several threads and dozens of posts, I guess, about us cold-weather, harsh winter people.

Like they know best about suspensions, tires, horsepower, or virtually anything else that routinely gets upgraded on Jeeps every day?

Not too bad considering the small cages they are put in by various pressures and factors. But, yeah.
