To me the ideal t-case is where you have the mechanical lock for 4L and 4H part time and use the clutches only in 4H auto. (and I'm sure that's where you were going with that)User error or not its still an unnecessary failure point for me. If I want 4wd, I'll pull the lever. The 4xe and 392 are both only available with it. If the clutches were only involved in 4A I wouldn't care, but when they fail you lose 4HI and 4LO too.
