Are you happy with the ARB diff breather kit? I think I am going to return the kit. The hose line appears very cheap and the only way to make it work is to slide it into the OEM 5/16 tube like you said. Effectively reducing the diameter and increasing the axle pressure.The ARB kit had plenty of hose/line in the kit.
On the front diff I just slide the ARB line into the OEM vent hose to run it up to the breather on the firewall........as I did with the rear diff.
I need to post up the pics before I get it stupid nasty next weekend
Also I want to have both axles and the transfer case vent to the same filter and that requires mounting the filter at a 90 degree angle which then means you need 90 degree fittings.
At this point I think I am just going to buy 25 foot of 5/16 hose pull both diffs and the transfer case into the engine bay reuse the breather valve/end caps and fabricate my own mount. All of this will be cheaper than the $90 this ARB kit costs
